GIRLS IN TECH IN INDIA The nonprofit Girls In Tech, based in San Francisco, has launched Indian headquarters in Hyderabad. The organization focuses on advocating for women and girls to engage with STEM professions and lessons through curriculum and events such as hackathons. Girls In Tech has branches across the world—in France, the UAE and Brazil to name a few—and said in a press release that it plans to host new events in Hyderabad, Bangalore and New Delhi.
