Dabble Raises $1M to Scale Marketplace for DIY Classes

DABBLE: Chicago-based Dabble has raised $1 million to scales its online marketplace for people interested in participating and teaching in-person classes. The funding round was led by KGC Capital with participation from Hyde Park Angels, M25 Group and Pallasite Ventures along with several angel investors. According to the Chicago Tribune, Dabble was used in 2015 by 15,000 users the platform currently supports 3,000 teachers. Classes cost an average of $40 for a group of seven students.
