PresenceLearning Raises $25M Series C Round to Grow Online K-12 Therapy Services

PRESENCELEARNING has raised a $25 million Series C round, with Catalyst Investors leading the round. Existing investors Birchmere Ventures, Blue Heron Capital, Catamount Ventures, and New Markets Venture Partners also participated. Catalyst's Ryan McNally joined the board of PresenceLearning.

Founded in 2009, PresenceLearning provides live online speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavior and mental health services to K-12 students. The San Francisco-based company has delivered more than a million sessions connecting students to a network of over 700 therapeutic professionals via a videoconferencing platform that integrates visual aids. (Several heartwarming case studies here.) PresenceLearning plans to expand into hospitals and grow its user base in schools with the new funding.
