Indian Startup, iSTAR Raises $1.5M to Connect Students to Jobs

THE STARS (AND DOLLARS) ALIGN: Indian startup, iSTAR, has raised $1.5 million in a round led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, reports The Economic Times. Based in Bangalore, the startup offers skills training, assessment and recruiting tools that help connect undergraduate students to employers. Founded in 2010, iSTAR has worked with more than 17,000 students across 150 colleges. Unitus Seed Fund also participated in the round.
