Code Kingdoms Raises $1.4M to Teach Kids to Code

Nov 10, 2015

Code Kingdoms: Code Kingdoms has raised seed funding of $1.4M. The London-based company aims to make learning to code accessible and engaging by allowing students to make their own games which they can share with friends. Its Javascript teaching software is targeted for students aged 6-13 and can be played via web or its iOS app. Code Kingdoms offers two versions of its tool: one for schools without gameplay and another version that kids can play at home. Based on figures reported in spring 2015, Code Kingdoms is used by 25,000 students and over 700 schools.
