3D SCRIBBLING: Disney researchers in Zurich have crossbred a coloring book, a pop-up book and an iPad to make a coloring book that brings your creation to life. Augmented reality coloring books aren’t new—Photoshop tried it—but Disney’s is the first that lets the reader influence the look of the 3D creation in real time. The researchers said in a written statement that they aim to save an activity that “inspires the imagination of children and provides them with one of their earliest opportunities for creative expression." We just have one question: what happens when you color outside the lines?
