LEARNUP: San Francisco-based LearnUp has closed an $8M Series A round, according to a press release. LearnUp partners with large companies (e.g. Gap Inc. and Staples, among others) to train potential candidates for entry-level positions. Shasta Ventures and New Enterprise Associates led the round, with Floodgate, Greylock Partners and High Line Venture Partners participating.
