APPLICA Manilla-based Applica has raised $100K in angel funding to better connect and inform college applicants. The young founders, Alandy Dy and Jefferson Tan are freshmen from Stanford University and Atenero de Manila University, respectively. Applica allows applicants to apply and pay for applications to partner institutions. In addition, the company offers a curated newsfeed of an applicant’s preferred colleges.
