DATACAMP, which offers online data-science courses, received $1 million in a seed round led by Chris Lynch of the early stage venture capital firm, Accomplice. Launched in 2013, the Belgian company currently teaches courses on the statistical programming language R and hopes to add more data-science related courses in the coming year, according to TechCrunch. After coming to the US to participate in TechStar’s New York City program, DataCamp recently decided to open an office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
