ATOMIC LEARNING, an education-focused professional development company, has acquired Appleton, Wisconsin-based Versifit. Founded in 1998, Versifit provides more than 700 school districts with data warehousing and analytics through its Edvantage Educational Improvement Management System. The acquisition will allow Atomic Learning “to help educators unleash the power of data to truly personalize learning and drive even greater and more relevant outcomes”, says Atomic Learning CEO, Lisa Barnett in a press release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Atomic Learning is owned by two private equity funds: Boathouse Capital and Renovus Capital Partners.
