Fifteen-Year-Old Launches Global Art Campaign #Kids4Action

Jun 3, 2015

WHAT THE KIDS WANT: Let’s talk about students for a second. Last week, Seri Handel reported on a recent NY Edtech Meetup where students shared their desires for better online access, less paper in the classroom and more video. So--how about letting the kids get even more of a voice in the edtech space? Here’s one idea: encourage them to lead global Twitter campaigns, such as one 15-year-old did with the global art project #kids4action. Canadian student Loizza Aquino recently launched this initiative, which she hopes will unite 1 million children through their artwork via an interactive online digital gallery, accessible via kids4action.org.
