CAUTIONARY TALE? There may be a silver lining to the ongoing saga of Los Angeles Unified School District’s iPad and Pearson software implementation. As Michael Horn, executive director of the Clay Christensen Institute, sees it, “no one wants to be the next LA Unified”—and hopes other districts can avoid it by learning from LAUSD’s mistakes.
