VIVALING: SGD $500K (approximately USD $375K) from Singaporean investors to VivaLing, which offers one-on-one online language tutoring for children ages 3 to 15. The startup currently offers coaching in English, Spanish, French and Chinese, and claims users in a dozen countries across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. VivaLing is also building a child-safe community where language learners can practice their skills with each other through games. The seed round will allow the company expand into the Chinese market.
