Stick With This: Students Duct Tape Principal to Raise Money for Chromebooks

Feb 26, 2015

STICKY TRACTION: Ditch the dunk tank. Moncure Elementary School, located in Stafford County, VA, prefers this deviously entertaining way to raise money. As part of its fundraising efforts to purchase five Chromebooks for each of the school's 30 classrooms, students paid $1 to apply a yard of duct tape to their beloved principal and his assistant. So far the school has raised $4,000 (but who's going to peel off more than 2 miles of duct tape?) We can't help but smile at this vivid description from Fredericksburg.com : "Machi [the school principal] hung suspended, his face slowly slipping beneath the top of the cocoon, and the lunch room of kindergartners squealed."
