MONEY MAKER: The New York-based Robin Hood Foundation recently announced three finalists--Beyond 12, the Education Advisory Board and Kinvolved--in its Robin Hood College Success Prize. In order to test each tool's ability to help community college students with remedial needs, each finalist's tool will be put into the field in fall of 2015 and undergo a three-year randomized control trial to test effectiveness. Robin Hood will then determine which tool is most successful in raising the graduation rate of full-time students with remedial needs.
