Oakland-based MindBlown Labs was one of 11 winners of a research contract from the US Department of the Treasury from its new Financial Empowerment Innovation Fund. More than 350 organizations competed for the awards. The $610K contract will support work on MindBlown Labs’ Thrive ‘n’ Shine game as well as on an experiential learning framework to teach financial capability to high school students. Details here.
