BIG NAMES ONBOARD: The Minerva Project, which raised $70 million shortly after welcoming its first class for its startup university, is adding a couple of distinguished names to the board of directors for The Minerva Institute for Research and Scholarship, the nonprofit-arm that oversees scholarships, grants and the $500K Minerva Prize for teaching. Joining are Michael Horn (co-founder of the Christensen Institute and a leading author and thought leader on blended learning) and Stacy Childress (CEO of NewSchols Venture Fund). More in the release.
