Top LAUSD Technology Officer Resigns

ESCAPE FROM LA: In the wake of John Deasy’s resignation last month from the top position at Los Angeles Unified School District, Chief Information Officer Ron Chandler is following suit. Both departures are tied to the debacles over the district's rocky $1.3 billion iPad rollout and the $130 million homegrown Student Information System that lost student and parent records. Chandler’s resignation will be in effect immediately, but he will be paid through the end of the year.
