California and Georgia Have Huge Regions Without AP CompSci Classes

COMPUTER SCIENCE WOES: Remember how shocked the public was last January when it was discovered that some states had no girls or black students take the 2013 AP Computer Science exam? Well, there’s more to be shocked about now: April Heard and Tom McKlin found that California and Georgia have huge regions where not a single school has an AP Computer Science high school course. (In Georgia alone, it’s a third of the state.)
