GEO-JOE: One group of Arkansas students created 911 responder maps for their town. In New Mexico, students mapped tribal land boundaries. How? Their teachers brought in geographical information system (GIS) software, which is now coming to 100,000 schools across the country. We can’t wait to hear how students get creative with this one.
