Pearson Launches 'Study Spot' Location Tool

Mar 31, 2014

STUDY BUDDY? Looking for a spot to study in a crowded college library can be downright frustrating (and lead to alternative learning experiences, like eating pizza). So last week, Pearson launched an app called "Inspired Places of Learning"to help students find the best study spaces using Foursquare data. So far, the app includes 200 potential spots at universities in the US, UK, India and Indonesia.

Current locations in the US cluster around the Northeast, and oftentimes include large university "study spots" like the Harvard University's Widener Library. Butkeep in mind: some of these libraries won't be accessible to individuals who aren't students at the respective universities. The app is free to download for iOS and Android.
