Amazon Delivers 40 Million Digital Textbooks To Brazil's Teachers

AMAZON TO THE AMAZON: Many have been asking what Amazon has up its sleeves in the education market. BetaNews reports the company recently scored a major contract with Brazil's Ministry of Education to deliver digital textbooks to teachers throughout the country. The two have started converting over 200 textbooks into digital formats for delivery to public high school teachers via Whispercast. Amazon reports that it has already delivered more than 40 million digital textbooks to teachers across Brazil.
