BLENDED FUNDING: The Learning Accelerator, a non profit dedicated to supporting the spread of blended learning, has invested $2 million to support educators making transitions blended learning. Four lucky organizations will support blended learning from four different angles, as recipients of the funding. The recipients are:

  • Relay Graduate School of Education who will using the funding to develop a suite of blended learning training modules available for free and for credit for teachers
  • Better Lesson who will be funded to share out best practices used by master teachers implementing blended learning in their classroom
  • TNTP who will use the funding to make recommendations to districts on how to manage the transition to blended learning
  • The Highlander Institute who will provide training and assistance to schools and districts in Rhode Island.

Each organization will aim to support blended learning initiatives from its respective specialty. The Learning Accelerator hopes to take what it learns and create scalable solutions for the industry.
