Curious.com Gets $15M to Grow Lifelong Learning Marketplace

CURIOUS.COM: $15 million to Menlo Park, CA-based Curious.com in a Series B round led by GSV Capital, with previous investors Redpoint Ventures, Bill Campbell and Jesse Rogers. GSV's Chairman and CEO, Michael Moe, will be joining the board of directors. Curious.com offers an online marketplace for lifelong learning, with over 700 teachers offering 5,000-plus courses on a variety of topics like salsa, stucco, and sparkle shoes. Courses range from $9 to $49. The company previously raised a $7.5 million Series A in May 2013. More details in TechCrunch.
