Kaltura Secures $47M in Funding

KALTURA: NYC-based Kaltura has secured $47M in new investment, according to a company press release. A host of investors participated in the Series E round, including new investors Gera Ventures, SAP Ventures, Commonfund Capital, and Nokia Growth Partners. Existing investors, Nexus Venture Partners, .406 Ventures, Mitsui & Co. Global Investment, Inc, Intel Capital, and Silicon Valley Bank also contributed.

Kaltura's video creation tools are used by companies and universities alike to create, manage and distribute video content. The company plans to use the money to "further accelerate product development" and support its international expansion.
