BLAST FROM THE PAST: Sometimes the radical ways that we imagine technology shaping the future actually turn out to be true. Some ideas like "The Answer Machine," blackboards delivered through TVs, and videophones have been realized today thanks to the Internet, MOOCs and Skype. Others--like Rosey the robot teacher--are (thankfully) still a pipe dream.
