BEHIND THE WHITE HOUSE: Get ready for "Behind the Music," Washington, DC-style. On Monday, December 16, Discovery Education will launch a new Virtual Field Trip series called "Of the People: Live from the White House." This series of live, 30-minute broadcasts will provide middle and high school students with looks into the lives and jobs of various White House employees and personalities. Up first, on December 16 at 1 pm EST, curator Wiliam Allman takes schools on a tour of art and history around 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. All future "Of the People" installments can be viewed on Discovery Education's website.
