CREATIVELIVE: $21.5 million to creativeLIVE in a Series B round led by Social + Capital Partnership, whose General Partner, Ted Maidenberg, will join the board. Previous investor Greylock Partners also participated in the round. The SF-based startup founded in 2010 has now raised just under $30 million. CreativeLIVE provides an online destination that offers over 500 courses across a range of interests and hobbies. Viewers can watch live broadcasts for free but must pay to access recordings. The press release states that "over 2 million students from 200 countries have consumed more than 1 billion minutes of skill-based education on creativeLIVE.
