BC Teacher Launches #Grammar911 Project on Twitter

Nov 9, 2013

GRAMMAR ETIQUETTE, MEET TWITTER: Victoria Olson, a British Columbia elementary school teacher, encourages the public to join her #Grammar911 project, an effort to engage students in contextual grammar lessons on Twitter. Olson posts grammatically-incorrect sentences online, students correct them, and then post their own “messy” sentences for other students to fix. (For instance, “do u bring water Bottles to school!”)As journalists, we thoroughly support this effort. (Just dnt beat up r twets!@edsurge.) Go, Victoria!
