CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES: Can you remember a time before MOOCs? Hard to believe that the likes of Coursera and Udacity are just about two years old. Coursera is celebrating with an infographic. Cofounder Andrew Ng writes that in the fall of 2011, "My team comprising four Stanford students and me had just launched our first two courses, each of which eventually reached over 100,000 students, thus helping kick off the MOOC movement."
So many students, so little time. Or to be a bit more precise: 5 million students (according to Coursera's count), and 100 "partner institutions," from the likes of National Geographic to the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology,
