TIME TO DELIVER: PARCC released an RFP this week asking for proposals from vendors who can deliver a “technology bundle.” Their needs: a platform for delivering CC assessments and a data warehouse for over 22 million kids. The testing consortium is will begin delivering CC tests by the 2014-2015 school year. A tall order, but handsomely rewarded by the $16.5 - 17.5 million budgeted for the task. Proposals are due October 9, and awards will be handed out by mid-December. Look to Sean Cavanaugh for details.
