TAYLOR-MADE: We reported back in June that Richard Taylor, UK-based edupreneur and investor, was planning a series of free events in the UK to encourage teachers to think differently about their role in helping create sensible edtech tools. Taylor and his crew at ed-invent have now announced the dates and locations for ten one-day workshops in 2013. It's got a bit of a Startup Weekend feel: teachers will form teams and pitch ideas to judges. The winner from each event will be invited to attend a five-day "residential pre-incubators" in Cambridge next year to compete for prize money and support to apply for edtech incubators around the world. Applications are now open to UK-based teachers!
