Former Zynga Employees Launch Educational Games Studio

Aug 13, 2013

KIDCORE: More folks from Zynga zipping down the route of education. Gamasutra reports that three former employees from its defunct studio in Germany have launched a gaming studio, KidCore, which will focus on early child development in deductive skills, artistic development, spatial thinking, numerical thinking, dexterity, and music expression. The social gaming giant began making headlines in the edtech scene when co-founder Steve Schoettler jumped ship to start Junyo in June 2011 (which has since been a tumultuous journey) and recently teamed up with NewSchools Venture Fund for a learning games accelerator.
