FIXATED: Last Wednesday, Apple was handed a blow in its heated battle over price fixing of e-books. The technology powerhouse was found guilty by a federal court judge of conspiring with publishers, including Pearson, to keep prices high and edge out popular competitor, Amazon. E-books for K-12 were not the case's focus, but the rulings may affect prices moving forward. This fight will likely to drag on as Apple has "vowed" to appeal the ruling.
