THE FINISH LINE: Katy Jordan, a graduate student at The Open University, posted a neat chart synthesizing completion rates of MOOCs--mostly Coursera, but also a few from Udacity and edX. (Even cooler--she did this for her final project on a MOOC on infographics!) Her goal: to see the numbers vary according to different providers or assessment methods (auto vs. peer grading--or both). The highest completion rate she's found so far: 19.2% for "Functional Programming Principles in Scala," offered by Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne via Coursera. Tip of the hat to Phil Hill over at e-Literate for catching this excellent resource.
