THINKFUL: $1 million to New York-based Thinkful in seed round from RFE Ventures, Quotidian Ventures, and Peter Thiel's FF Angel, reports PEHub. The startup prepares users to pick up technical skills relevant to 21st century careers. Currently it offers an online 12-week course in front-end web development for $750, which comes with one-on-one mentoring and connections with employers. Co-founder and President, Daniel Friedman, hails from the inaugural 20 Under 20 Thiel Fellowship back in 2011.
