SmarTots Raises Undisclosed Series A

SMARTOTS: Undisclosed Series A round to Beijing-based SmarTots from SoftBank Ventures Korea, reports TechCrunch. (Dow Jones & Company suggested back in May 2012 that the company was seeking $3 to $5 million.) The startup claims "the world's largest network of teacher-screened apps" that keeps parents informed on the best and latest best child-appropriate titles and also tracks how kids are using the apps. (A similar value proposition to YogiPlay and Kindertown.) SmarTots had previously raised $750K in 2011.
