Freemium SYNCPAD discards the keyboard/mice controls normally used in online collaboration spaces for a more natural finger/stylus interface using share-able interactive, iPad-optimized whiteboards which support sketching, text, images, and PDFs. The only barrier to instant collaboration -- whether it be teaching in a 1:1 computing environment or remote tutoring -- is an internet connection and some form of voice communication (you can't chat over SyncPad just yet). The free plan allows up to three collaborators on a given whiteboard. Access for up to 30 users runs $4.99/month and includes customer support. Educators are encouraged to inquire about group discounts after signing up for a free account via web or iTunes store.
