White House Seeking Innovation Fellows

Feb 5, 2013

INNOVATING WITH THE POTUS: The White House just started taking applications for its second cohort of "Presidential Innovation Fellows." Game plan is to connect private sector teams (from business, academic or the nonprofit sector) with government groups for six to 12 months to explore nine Big Picture ideas (think "Open Data" and "MyData" Initiatives). Within those buckets, there's an edtech spin: the "Open Data" projects include exploring how to build virtual learning at a national scale and using digital tools to pry open the Smithson's treasures and so on. Applications are due March 17. Check out all the details here.
