School Tool: Tiki-Toki Aims to Make Timeline Creation Effortless

Jan 23, 2013

Freemium TIKI-TOKI is a well-designed timeline creation tool that falls along the same lines (pun totally intended) as Meograph and Time Toast. What sets Tiki-Toki apart is the informative and easy-to-use user interface. The number of information bubbles explaining various features is almost overwhelming but you'll never wonder what, why, or how you're doing. We're really impressed with the ability to upload Twitter and RSS feeds in temporal fashion, though it's a mystery why no one has incorporated Facebook's timeline feature -- perhaps the folks on Willow Road have already laid down the law. A free account lets you create a single timeline. Teachers can get their hands on 50 bronze accounts for students (which lets each of them create five, ad-free timelines) plus a silver account (create up to 25 timelines) for $100/year.
