Hacker Scouts Teach Kids How to Tinker

Dec 24, 2012

TRIBAL EXPANSION: Boys' and Girls' Scouts may not be for everyone. But there's another way to score your badges. NPR takes a look at "Hacker Scouts" in Oakland, part of the nationwide DIY / Maker movement that encourages kids to tinker with electronics and woodwork, and earn badges made by the renowned Adafruit Industries.
