Strong Nintendo Wii U Sales Underscore Engagement in Games

Nov 28, 2012

400K FROM NINTENDO: Gizmodo reports that Nintendo has pushed 400,000 Wii U units in its first week on the market, and another 300K of the original Wii consoles. By comparison, Xbox360 sold 270K units as October’s top console-seller. Black Friday numbers aside, the strong sales are a gentle reminder that while “there’s an app for that,” complex games and the consoles they’re played on still provide the most engaging digital learning experiences (for better or worse!).
