Monkimun Raises $1M to Help Young Children Learn Languages

MONKIMUN: $1 million to Monkimun, a startup based in San Francisco and Madrid, in a seed round from 500 Startups, SHO-zemi Innovation Ventures, Incuvest and Lanzame Capital. Founded in 2014, the startup develops language learning apps targeted for children ages 2 to 6. A graduate of 500 Startups, Monkimun claims its five apps, available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese, have already been downloaded over a million times.
