Our cutting-edge curriculum is ready to use–no need to spend time designing, testing, and iterating on your own curriculum.

In this role you will

• Lead small groups of students in the online classroom using Zoom to teach the curriculum provided by Create & Learn.
• Adapt the delivery of the lessons to support any technical demands that may arise during the session.
• Follow up with attendance and messaging to parents via Create & Learn platform.

Our preferred teaching style includes

• Interactive and inspiring teaching using online audio and video.
• Confident, effective, and empowering classroom management skills.
• Practice with fostering problem solving, critical thinking, and development of projects and exercises.
• Passionate about computer science education.

Qualifications include

• 2+ years experience teaching and learning with children grades 4+
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Familiar with Python, Java, or Unity (at least one year of college class or work experience in one of these areas). 
• At least one year of teaching coding or completion of college-level computer science courses.
• Experience in after school/camp setting and/or leading a classroom preferred
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet access and computer that can support video conferencing required.
• Valid background check using SSN in the US

This is a contractor role. Classes are 1 - 1.5 hours each and we require a commitment of at least 15 hours per week to fast track your application. Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.  Apply here,
