RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Infrastructure & Security
- Maintain and manage the school’s network, including Wi-Fi, firewalls, and internet security protocols.
- Ensure data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance with FERPA and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee device management, including Chromebooks, MacBooks, PCs, and AV equipment.
- Implement and maintain backup systems and disaster recovery plans.
Technical Support & Help Desk
- Provide technical support for students, faculty, and staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Manage ticketing systems to track and resolve technology requests efficiently.
Software & Systems Management
- Administer and support school-wide platforms such as Google Workspace for Education, Clever, PowerSchool, Go Guardian, and other software.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring secure and appropriate access to systems.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve learning and operational efficiency.
Technology Planning & Budgeting
- Develop and manage the school’s technology budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Recommend technology upgrades and innovations aligned with the school’s mission.
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets.
Other duties as assigned
