Steven Morgan is currently finishing his sixth year teaching math at Carlsbad 6th Grade Academy in Carlsbad, NM. In seeing how modern and engaging math can help students achieve and change their outlook on math, he evolved his classroom using the 3-Act structure starting in 2015.
Steven was a keynote speaker at the MidSchoolMath National Conference in 2017 and participated in a school-wide research study, analyzing student achievement using the 3-Act structure as a main curriculum. He continues to work closely with MidSchoolMath to create engaging curriculum for middle school students.
