Dr. Elvira Salazar is the Director of Online Learning and Technology at Latinos for Education. Prior to joining Latinos for Education, Elvira was the director of secondary science for a school district. For over 17 years, she served in various roles in public school districts in the greater Houston area, including senior manager of design, media and online learning, senior education technologist, curriculum specialist and science teacher. Elvira is passionate about developing systems and designing learning environments that empower all learners.
