Brief Biography

Diane Conti is the Vice Principal of Herbert Hoover High School in San Diego Unified, a diverse, comprehensive high school with five Linked Learning academies. At Hoover, she is responsible for academic programs, student enrollment, campus security, community relations, and the development of the master schedule.

Over her 14 years in public education, Diane has served in a variety of roles. This includes teaching in an Engineering, Innovation & Design Academy and serving as a district resource teacher focused on secondary special education. For the last eight years, Diane has also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Brandman University helping educators earn their certificate to teach students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Diane earned her B.A in English at the University of Rhode Island, her M.Ed. in Special Education from Endicott College, and her Administrative Credential from the University of San Diego. When she is not on campus, you can find her making music and playing with her dog Ruby.
