Alice Domínguez (she/her) teaches English and Humanities at Public Academy for Performing Arts in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She earned a Master of Arts in critical literacy at San Diego State University and in the 2026-2027 school year, she’ll be celebrating her twentieth year teaching. She has taught in traditional public schools, private parochial schools, and charter and magnet schools in the five states she’s lived in. Each setting has taught her that the complexities of education are contextual and interconnected.
