Tree House Education and Accessories Pvt Ltd. is a school management company that operates more than 175 pre-schools in 23 cities across India. In 2011, it became a publicly traded company, raising $25.3 million in an IPO. Backers include: Matrix Partners India, the Omidyar Network and Foundation Capital. It planned to open another 140 schools by fiscal year 2014.
